Tango Revolution & Johanna Debreczeni
This exceptional trio will take you straight to the heart of the tango with an emotional and captivating experience. They present the soulful and evocative sound of Finnish tango. The trio features three outstanding musicians, each bringing their own expertise and passion for Finnish tango. Together, these three exceptional musicians create a unique synergy, delivering a performance that transports the listener deep into the world of Finnish tango.

Henna Leppänen, an accomplished accordionist, brings the melancholy and beauty of Finnish tango to life with her versatile playing. Henna excels at creating moods that range from bittersweet to hopeful, capturing the very spirit of the music. She is accordionist, composer, and musician whose artistic expression delves deep into the heart of Finnish music.

Johanna Debreczeni, a vocalist with a deep and powerful tango voice, leads the audience into the essence of Finnish tango. Her interpretation is filled with emotion and intensity, drawing listeners into a world of rich, heartfelt expression. She has won the title of Tango Queen 2004 in Tangomarkkinat, Seinäjoki.

Ville Rauhala, one of Tampere’s most renowned double bass players and a widely respected musician, provides a distinctive and supportive bass foundation. Ville’s playing perfectly complements the language of the tango, providing a solid yet sensitive rhythm alongside Johanna’s voice and Henna’s accordion.

Jenna Polvi is a passionate tango teacher specialising both in Argentinian and Finnish styles of tango. Her versatile background includes dance styles such as show-, jazz- and contemporary dance with team gymnastics. Her first profession is in physiotherapy. Jenna is a clear, present, and warm teacher who bases her teaching strongly on kinesthetics and biomechanics, without forgetting team spirit and joy.

Vilhelmiina Sinervo is a Finnish circus artist passionate about Argentinian tango. Her profession as a slack rope balancer gives her a great somatic knowledge about axis and management of weight-shifting. Vilhelmiina represents Association Tango aMoroso ry , which is an Association of Argentinian tango and folklore from Tampere. Tampere is the twin town of Chemnitz.
